BREAKING: NCDC releases 288 COVID-19 confirmed cases as total rises to 5445

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released a total of 288 cases as confirmed coronavirus cases for Friday, May 15, 2020. The figures were released at exactly 11. 47pm on Friday. The total figures were gathered from 15 states across the nation.

The figures are spread as follows

With the number released on Friday, the total number of cases across the state of the country stands at 5445 in all. 1320 have been discharged while 171 have reportedly died of the virus according to the statistics released by the NCDC for Nigerians.

Many Nigerians have been expressing misgivings over the continuous rise of the figures, the NCDC has continuously released the figures on a daily basis. The figures are given fear to Nigerians on what holds for the future of the nation in this pandemic.
