We use tomatoes in our meals almost every day. Or is there anybody who does not use tomatoes in his food? I have never heard anybody saying he or she does not use tomatoes. That is one vegetable I have not heard any one forbids across climes and cultures. That is why tomatoes business has never failed.

If you must eat rice, then you must need tomatoes to make it great for you, though we know there are some people who eat rice without tomatoes. I have heard of people who use soup like egusi soup to eat rice. We are also aware of what, in some communities, is called “banga rice.” Yes, especially in Delta state, Southern part of Nigeria, Urhobo communities enjoy banga rice.

However, tomato is good for our bodies. There are many reasons why we need tomatoes. Research shows that tomatoes help to prevent cancer.  Also, tomatoes is said to regulate blood pressure. We also understand that tomatoes aid weight loss.
