Chief Emma Ejiofor, PhD, FIBDFM, the Onishe Ubulu, has congratulated Brigadier-General Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd) on his reappointment as Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), expressing confidence that the development will accelerate Nigeria’s fight against illicit drugs.
In a statement issued on Tuesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Gibson Dunkwu, Chief Ejiofor described Marwa’s second five-year term as a well-deserved recognition of his distinguished service and transformative leadership at the agency.
“It is with immense pleasure and profound admiration that I join countless Nigerians in congratulating Brigadier-General Mohammed Buba Marwa on this well-deserved reappointment,” he said.
Chief Ejiofor praised Marwa as “a pronounced and ratified officer and a gentleman committed to national service,” noting that the confidence reposed in him by the President reflects both his competence and the tangible results recorded during his tenure.
He emphasized that Nigerians expect even greater achievements from the NDLEA under Marwa’s continued leadership. “We are supremely confident that under his steadfast leadership, the NDLEA will not only meet but significantly surpass the high expectations placed upon it,” he stated.
