The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced one of the highest figures so far since the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus disease in Nigeria on February 27, 2020.

The announcement which hit the agency’s twitter handle at exactly 11:48pm sees Nigeria recording as huge as 339 cases in a single day. This is a far figure from the once announced daily since February 27.

The figures have been rising and falling. When it falls, hope rises as it gives indication of a fall in the number of infection but surprisingly the figures will rise, awakening fear in the mind of Nigerians.
