Popular Nigeria musician, Daniel Oladapo, aka D’banj has been released by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission.

This development was announced on friday by D’banj’s lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, who stated that the musician was released on self-recognition.

Recall that EmeraldNews reported that the Olivertwist crooner was apprehended by the ICPC on Tuesday for alleged fraud involvement.

As maintained by Koko Reports, Barr. Pelumi had yesterday called for the immediate release of the artiste.

A Statement released on his official facebook page on Thursday said D’Banj who was arrested by the anti-graft agency on Tuesday, was innocent of the allegations of fund diversion trailing him regarding the social empowerment programme ‘N-Power Scheme.’

He also demanded that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs should make public the names of government officials allegedly involved with D’Banj in the alleged fraud.
