Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Delta state, Chief Great Ogboru, has staged a walk out from the Arise TV debate after the organisers gave the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sheriff Oborevwori and the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege a second chance to appear on Thursday for the debate.
According to information available to Emerald News, Arise TV crew has scheduled 7pm Thursday for Oborevwori and Omo-Agege to appear for the debate. The rescheduled debate followed a request by Oborevwori for a fresh date as he has schedule for Wednesday.
On the part of Omo-Agege, he said if Oborevwori fails to turn up for the debate, he likewise will turn the request. Hence, the new date for the two candidates.
But Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP, told the crew that he would be available on Thursday also to join Oborevwori and Omo-Agege in continuation of the debate.
