Chief Tony Erute, a renowned party leader in Uvwie local government area, has said that Chief Anthony Ofoni is a loyal party man.
He said the aspiration of Chief Ofoni to the office of the chairman of the local government area is to serve the people of the local government area.
He said he is committed to the party and that if opportunity is given to him to emerge, he will transform the local government area for good.
He said he will make sacrifices that will improve revenue generation, primary healthcare system, remodel the primary education system and the sanitary of the markets in the local government area.
Chief Erute added that Ofoni will sustain the existing peace being enjoyed amongst people of Uvwie local government area and the business and social visitors.
He said the attainment of good and quality governance and the even distribution of dividends of democracy at the grassroots, is what encouraged Chief Ofoni into taking the decision to aspire to the party, the PDP, for a chance to assemble men and women of known integrity, to fly the party flag, at the forthcoming local government elections.
He noted that the beauty of democracy is getting the right man to lead the people, a man that can assemble the best team to work with, not a man who claims ‘I know it all’,-Chief Erute said.
He said Chief Ofoni is the right man who has the political wits to gather the people and lead them in the right direction in Uvwie local government area.
