Wonders they say shall never end as a police officer, a native of Ozoro in Isoko North local government area of Delta state, Mr. Frank Igedo, has hired fake parents to accompany him to Obowo in Imo state to marry a new wife.

The first wife of the police officer, Mrs. Sandra Igedo, revealed to Emerald News how her husband who works at Government House, Awka deceived her and collected a sum of one hundred and fifty (N150.000) thousand naira from her to marry a new wife while he told her that he wanted to use the money to complete his own cash to buy a portion of land in Awka where they presently reside.

Mrs. Igedo said that it was after the marriage that she found out that her husband also collected a loan of 1million naira to secretly get a new wife for himself.

Mrs. Igedo who felt disappointed over her husband’ s action told Emerald News that she has started to regret marrying her husband instead of marrying a man from her state, Anambra state.

She added that it was the doctors and nurses of Divine hospital Awka which is her family’s hospital that brought her attention that a woman used her clinic card to give birth in their hospital.

According to her, she doubted the information until she visited the hospital and met her husband and his new wife as well as the new born baby girl.

When the parents of the couple came to judge the case in their house, the police officer disclosed to them that he hired fake parents and other people to accompany him to Obowo to marry his new wife.

Mr. Igedo told his parents that he hired people to the traditional marriage as they would not give him consent to get another wife.

The first wife of Mr. Frank Igedo as well as family members was shocked to experience such words from him.

The first wife of the police officer cried out that her husband does not take care of the three kids she has for him while he married another woman whom she found out that he rented an apartment for in Awka.

She said that she never suspected her husband even when he stayed at his duty post without coming to the house because of how her husband claimed that he loved her so much.

The man’s s parents angrily told their son that they cannot accept the new wife as theirs since they were did not accompany him to marry her.

While  both family members were judging the matter, the second wife was busy running mouth with her, claiming that she too has equal right with her as the man” s legal wife.

At the time of filing this report, the first wife has been threatening to leave the marriage as her husband is claiming to maintain two of them since two of them are good.
