FFK can never defect to APC, this is the reason he will remain in PDP

There is confusion among friends and fans of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode over his visit to the governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello. In a facebook post, Fani-Kayode said he visited Bello where he had a fruitful discussion with him which lasted for hours. He didn’t disclose the subject of the discussion but only said a fruitful discussion.

By his visit to a core governor of the All Progressives Congress (APC), many Nigerians have given different meanings to it. The fact is that Nigeria is politically divided into two, the APC group and the PDP group. Nigerians also know the core members of the two leading parties in the country. They also know the fake members and the insincere ones.

But Fani-Kayode, who is fondly called FFK is known to be a hard core PDP man. He was in the government ofOlusegun Obasanjo as aviation minister. He was the campaign media director for Jonathan’s 2015 election. He has been one of the biggest critics of President Muhammadu Buhari since 2015 till date. FFK and Reno Omokri have been on the jugular of Buhari since he became Nigeria’s president.

He has said he can never accept appointment into Buhari’s government. He has washed Buhari on several occasions, with many unprintable languages in the media. All the APC leaders,Tinubu, Osibanjo an others have suffered in his hand.

This is why many Nigerians are questioning the essence of his visit to Kogi governor. But some have said FFK cannot defect to APC, no matter what happens. FFK has suffered also in the hands of the APC led federal government. He was arrested by EFCC where he was probed and made to cough out some money.

Some say FFK is a friend to all governors, so, no qualms about his visit to Kogi state governor. Others said FFK cannot join APC. While a few said nothing is impossible as far as politicians are concerned. So, where do we stand? Can FFK actually join APC? If he does, he has no dignity, then he must apologise to Buhari for all the evils he did against his government and the APC.
