Green Lotto explains why they will not pay lottery ‘winner’ his N72.7m claim

Green Lotto, a lottery company organised by Brentwood Multiservices Global limited, in Ikorodu, Lagos, has given its reasons for not paying a ‘winner’ identified as Sunday Nwachukwu his winning claim of N72.7m.

Vanguard reported that the firm’s decision was drawn based on the claimant allegedly engagement in irregularities, therefore does not deserve the money he is claiming.

The claimant, Sunday Nwachukwu had earlier dragged the lottery company before the Lagos State High court, sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square over their refusal to pay him his win money.

Reacting to Nwachukwu’s accusation, Green Lotto in a statement by its Brand and Marketing Communications Head, Imoudu Asekhame, said the company does not pay fraudulent winners.

He noted that sometime in 2019, same claimant, Sunday Nwachukwu won the sum of N58,800,000 ( Fifty-eight million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira ) which was duly paid to him, despite the company’s suspicion of some irregularities in his play.

Imoudu said the company does not encourage cheating and fraud in its game business.
