Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has levelled serious allegations against a former governor of an unnamed northern state, accusing him of presiding over what he described as a “genocide” against Christian residents on December 25, 2016.
Speaking at a public event, Fani-Kayode claimed that the former governor harboured open hostility toward Christians and allegedly viewed them as “sub-human.”
He further alleged that under the governor’s watch, more than 800 innocent and defenceless Christians were massacred in a single community on Christmas Day.
According to him, the tragedy was compounded by the closure of hospitals to the wounded, leaving many victims without access to urgent medical care.
“These people were slaughtered in one day, and hospitals were closed to the wounded,” he said, insisting that the matter requires renewed national attention and accountability.
