The immediate past secretary to the local government (SLG), Isolo Local Council Development Association (LCDA) in Lagos state, Emmanuel Kolawole Olojede is dead, POLITICS NIGERIA is reporting.
The news of his death was confirmed by his former Personal Assistant, Prince John Dele Makanjuola on his Facebook page with the post “What a great lost (sic)”.
Reacting to Olojede’s death, member of the House of Representatives for Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2, Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson expressed sadness.
Johnson, in a statement on Sunday by his Media Aide, Dotun Oladapo, said the news of Olojede’s demise came as a shock to him. He described late Olojede as a vibrant and committed politician.
The lawmaker sent his condolences to the deceased family while praying for the repose of the soul of the late politician.
Johnson prayed to God to grant his family and colleagues the fortitude to bear the loss, adding that Olojede would be sorely missed.
