The Nigeria Department of State Service has released the ifa priest arrested for allegedly preparing charm for Yoruba nation freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyomo alias Sunday Igboho.
He was freed after being detained for six months, his mother confirmed the release.
One of Igboho lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, says the case against Ifasooto has no substance.
According to Olajengbesi, they have been looking for bin Dada, but nobody knew his whereabout until DSS released 12 of Igboho aides, who then revealed that they met Dada in DSS custody.
For months nobody knew where Dada Ifasooto was until one of the detainees released from the SSS custody informed BBC he was detained in the custody of the Secret Service in one underground cell.”
DSS detained Ifasooto on July 16, 2021, two weeks after his house in was raided on July 1, killed two of his aides and arrested 12 others.
Currently the twelve aides are out on bail.
