Dr. Michael Nwoko, Chief of Staff to Senator Ned Nwoko, has called on Nigerians, particularly the people of Delta North, to embrace unity, patriotism, and renewed commitment to national progress as the country marks its 65th Independence anniversary.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the Independence Day, Dr. Nwoko extended warm felicitations to Nigerians, describing the day as a reminder of the nation’s resilience and collective determination to build a country that works for all.
“Sixty-five years after gaining self-rule, Nigeria continues to stand as a beacon of hope and resilience,” he noted.
“Though our journey has not been without challenges, we must draw inspiration from our history and remain committed to the ideals of peace, justice, and progress for which our heroes laboured.”
Dr. Nwoko urged citizens of Delta North to renew their faith in the collective destiny of the region and the country, stressing the importance of hard work, tolerance, and community spirit.
He reaffirmed his commitment, alongside Senator Ned Nwoko, to advancing the interests of their constituents through quality legislation, empowerment programmes, and impactful initiatives.
“With the continued support of our people, we shall sustain the path of progress and deliver even greater dividends of democracy,” he assured.
