Senator Nwoko’s chief of staff itemises 14 significant areas Delta North senator will prioritize for Anioma people

Dr. Michael Nwoko, Chief of Staff to Senator Ned Nwoko, has assured the people of Delta North that the programs of the Distinguished Senator will be fully implemented in Delta North Senatorial District.

Dr. Nwoko, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Health Monitoring and fondly called “The Political Oshobe” by friends and admirers made this known in a message to Emerald News on Thursday.

He listed some of the initiatives that Senator Prince Ned Nwoko will prioritize for the people of Delta North.

*Identification of priority roads:* Conducting thorough assessments to identify key roads in Delta North that are in urgent need of rehabilitation or construction based on factors such as traffic volume, economic significance, and connectivity to essential services.

*Investment in Road Infrastructure:* Allocating adequate funds for the rehabilitation, maintenance, and construction of roads in Delta North, ensuring that resources are efficiently utilized to maximize impact and coverage.

*Collaboration with Government Agencies* : Working closely with relevant government agencies at the state and federal levels to coordinate efforts and secure necessary approvals and funding for the rehabilitation of federal roads in Delta North.

This includes regular monitoring and evaluation to assess progress and address any issues promptly.

*Cultural Preservation:* Supporting the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Delta North through funding cultural festivals, heritage site preservation, and promoting cultural exchange programs.

*Infrastructure Development* : Prioritizing the development of critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, electricity, and water supply to enhance connectivity and improve living standards in communities across Delta North.

*Healthcare Access:* Expanding healthcare infrastructure, providing medical supplies and equipment, and improving access to quality healthcare services, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

*Women Empowerment* : Implement programs to promote gender equality, support women’s education and entrepreneurship, and address issues such as maternal health and gender-based violence.

*Agricultural Development:* Supporting farmers with access to inputs, training, and markets to enhance agricultural productivity, increase food security, and boost rural livelihoods in Delta North.

*Tourism Promotion:* Investing in tourism infrastructure and marketing initiatives to capitalize on Delta North’s natural and cultural attractions, creating employment opportunities, and boosting economic growth in the region.

*Education Enhancement* : Improving the quality of education through infrastructure development, teacher training, curriculum enhancement, and provision of educational materials and technology to schools in Delta North.

By focusing on these additional areas, Senator Prince Ned Nwoko can further address the diverse needs and aspirations of the people of Delta North, contributing to their overall development and well-being.
