Youth advocate and entrepreneur, Oro Godwin Ogheneovie, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC), Delta State Chapter.
In a passionate announcement, Ogheneovie described his candidacy as more than a quest for leadership, calling it “a call for partnership” aimed at driving real change for the youth across the state.
A native of Ovwian and known for his commitment to youth development, he is rallying support from young people across Delta to join him in a mission to empower, unite, and uplift the next generation.
“The time is now for a youth congress that delivers results,” he stated. “But I cannot do this alone — I need your support.”
Ogheneovie brings to the race a track record of success as a grassroots organizer and entrepreneur, having built youth-driven businesses and led initiatives focused on digital empowerment and inclusive development.
He emphasized that his journey reflects what is possible when young people are given the right tools and opportunities to lead.
Promising a leadership rooted in action rather than promises, he urged Delta youth to join him in building a movement that prioritizes opportunity, representation, and real development for all.
The SNYC Delta Chapter elections are expected to draw attention as young leaders across the state mobilize for change and greater representation in decision-making spaces.
