Overwhelmed by the surprise birthday celebration, Dr. Oseji expressed her astonishment at the unexpected display of affection from the ministry’s staff.

She shared how she had received multiple calls that morning and, thinking it was a work-related meeting, rushed to the office. Upon arriving, she was met with a heartwarming celebration.

In her own words, “I’m overwhelmed, astounded, and flabbergasted. I received a call this morning from the most senior director, Mr Enone Godwin Toju, Director Forestry. the Director of Forestry, saying I had a meeting.

“I was receiving multiple calls, so I thought I needed to rush down to quickly hold the meeting. But when I entered the office, it was a pleasant surprise.”

“I feel so appreciated. My staff are one of a kind. They have shown me the love of a mother and the love to a mother. Everybody knows that I can be strict.

“Almost everyone jubilating here today must have seen the strict side of me, but when I correct, I do it in love because I want them to be the best version of themselves. Despite my strictness, they have come here to celebrate with me, and I truly appreciate that.”
