Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter has given reasons why he visited Nyesom Wike governor of Rivers state earlier on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.

Photos of the visit had gone viral on the social media. Although many could not fathom the essence of the visit, it is believed that it is not unconnected with the 2023 presidency.

In a post he later made on his Facebook page, Obi said both parties discussed issues of national importance.

“Earlier today, I visited Port-Harcourt, to confer with His Excellency, Governor Wike on vital issues of national interest,” Peter Obi said.
