A Niger Delta militant group, the Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters, has raised alarm to President Bola Tinubu over the rising tension along the creeks and waterways of the Niger Delta region over alleged secret deal involving the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Mele Kyari and the Minister of state for petroleum oil, Mr Heineken Lokpobri to award a new surveillance contract to the Former Militant leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo.

According to the SEFF, the award of the contract to Tompolo will undermine the stakeholders in all oil producing communities in the creek of Niger Delta region and sideline some of the major Ex-militant leaders and critical stakeholders from the Niger Delta region that played major role in the last presidential election that brought Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters, in a statement issued to newsmen via electronic mail after an emergency meeting attended by the various unit commanders and presided over by self styled General Agadagba 1 also known as River Don, alleged that the proposed award of the contract to Tompolo will throw the Niger Delta region into turmoil and return it back to the old days of insecurity and violence.

The SEFF also said if the entire pipeline surveillance contract is awarded to the said Tompolo alone, undermining some of the major Ex militant leaders and critical stakeholders from the Niger Delta region that played major role in the last presidential election that brought Tinubu to power while the likes of Tompolo and his monarch oppose to the candidature of the APC candidate in support of the opposition presidential candidate, former vice president ATIKU ABUBAKAR of the PDP, and Tompolo lost his polling units, wards and the entire Warri South West local government area to the PDP presidential candidate, ATIKU ABUBAKAR.

“It is the same man that, the GMD NNPC MELE KYARI and Sen. Heineken Lokpobri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources have decided to award the entire pipeline surveillance contract. We the Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters will not fold our hands to watch and allow such. We have decided to join hands with other militant groups and stakeholders from the oil producing communities in the Niger Delta to declare war against the GMD NNPC MELE KYARI and Sen. Heineken Lokpobri.”

” We have also compiled the list of those cabals in the corridors of Aso Villa, who have already collected billions of dollars in order to re-award the pipeline surveillance contract to the same old contractors to the detriment of other ethnic nationalities and stakeholders from the region.”

“We want to make it clear to the federal government and Nigerians that, if this contract is awarded through the back door without conveying a meeting of foremost former militant leaders including Tompolo, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari, King Ateke Tom, Gen. Ebikabowei Victor-Ben also known as Boaloaf, High Chief Bibopre Ajube also known as Shoot Asight and other notable ex-militant leaders and critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region, whatever that will befall the oil pipelines and the oil facilities in the region should be blamed on Kyari and Lokpobiri.”

The group called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all well meaning Nigerians and the international community to hold the GMD NNPC Mele Kyari and Sen Heineken Lokpobri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources state accountable.”

The Supreme Egbesu Freedom Fighters of Niger Delta also pointed out that the stakeholders from the region have resolved not to sit and watch one man to play god to the entire multi ethnic nationalities in the Niger Delta region,”all the other big names who are ex militant leaders that are well recognized in the Niger Delta and in the country, and also wanting to hijack every others ethnic nationalities who are host to these pipelines and oil facilities that cut across their domain and kingdom by one man called Tompolo”

“This time around, we will do everything humanly possible to disappoint the GMD NNPC MELE KYARI and Minister Heineken Lokpobri including those corrupt villa cabals who are cooking these deal and these time the entire Niger Delta will boil again and it will be disastrous and deadly.”
