The battle for 2027 is already heating up.
A pro-Tinubu group, the Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), has kicked off a nationwide grassroots mobilization drive to secure President Bola Tinubu’s re-election—over a year before polls open.
The campaign train makes its first stop in Jos, Plateau State, where the group will unveil its State Executive Council and Local Government Coordinators. The event’s chief host? None other than APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.
But RHGN insists it’s no ordinary support group. According to its National Leader, Hon. Calistus Anyanwu, the mission is to sell Tinubu’s policies—not just his personality—to everyday Nigerians.
Think fuel subsidy removal, forex unification, NELFUND student loans, tax reforms, and direct cash allocations to local governments. That’s the message they’re taking to the streets.
And they’re building a machine to match: ward-by-ward structures in Plateau, and a so-called “Booth Army” in the South-East, designed to lock in voter turnout at polling units.
Said Anyanwu: “This is about taking the administration’s record directly to the grassroots—and building unshakable support for 2027.”
With the clock ticking, RHGN is making it clear: they’re not waiting for election season—they’re building the groundwork now.
