The Executive Assistant on Renewal Energy, Barrister Newworld Safugha, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori over his victory at Supreme Court judgement saying it was a well deserved victory.
Barr. Safugha thanked God, PDP supporters, and Deltans for being steadfast.
He called on Deltans irrespective of their party affiliation to join hands with the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori towards building a vibrant economy and enhanced development of the state.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Safugha said since the Supreme Court had put to rest litigations concerning the 2023 governorship elections in the state, Deltans should put behind politics especially the 2023 elections issues and unite so as to fulfill the dreams of the founding fathers of the state.
Barr. Safugha , a former Commissioner of Energy in the state, noted that the success of Governor Oborevwori depended on how the good people of the state rallied to the M. O. R. E. Agenda which he initiated by contributing immensely to the development process of the state.
While describing Oborevwori’s victory at the Supreme Court as well deserved, he expressed optimism that it would further strengthen the nation’s nascent democracy and spur the governor to deliver the much needed democratic dividends to the people.
He thanked Deltans and supporters of the PDP, just as he lauded the maturity exhibited by members of the opposition parties, saying, “We are people of common interest; let’s work together to achieve the best for the good of all”.
