Sagabama/Ekeremor Reps seat: APC candidate, Mike Olomu, most qualified to represent Bayelsa in 2023—University don

As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepare to declare open the commencement of election campaign, a lecturer at the Federal University, Otuoke in Ogbai Council area of Bayelsa State, Dr. ​ Oyintonyo Michael Olomu has described Hon. Michael Olomu as the most qualified to represent the state at the National Assembly in 2023.

Oyintonyo Michael Olomu , who is also the Wife of the Federal House of Representative aspirant on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), noted that among all the aspirants jostling for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency seat from Bayelsa, her husband is the most qualified both in academics, ability and capacity to offer effective representation for the people of the constituency more than they have experienced in the past.

Mrs. Olomu, who is the Head of Department of Sociology in the Federal University, Otuoke located in Ogbia Council area of the State, told newsmen in Yenagoa that the frontline candidate for the House of Representatives in the forthcoming election is her husband, Hon. Michael Olomu of the All Progressive Congress (APC),” He is the most qualified, a refined Leader, young, energetic and pragmatic. He has managed human and material resources of the family and positions of trust as Senior Special Assistant to different Governors in the State as well as Special Adviser to different Chief Executive Officers/ Managing Directors including the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)” .

She revealed to newsmen that the last 13 years of her marriage to Hon. Micheal Olomu with Four wonderful children have shown her that the Sagbama/Ekeremor constituency deserved her husband to represent them at the National Assembly,” he has shown capacity, compassion at the home front and display capability as a mentor and philanthropist per excellence with an innate drive to impact his people positively driven by service for the betterment of the masses.

She also pointed out that the Michael Bless Olomu Foundation, which was incorporated in 2014 and set up by her husband has impacted on the life’s of over 3,000 persons by intervening in the health and educational needs of the people without political bias, age, location, faith or status.

The Managing Director of the Michael Bless Olomu Foundation described her husband as a prepared leader and debunked news on social media that age, experience and status counts against his candidature, noting that his pedigree as a former students leader, activist and Loyal follower as the right time to deepen democracy by​ presenting himself to serve his constituents is now as his regime will enthrone prosperity to Youths, women and men in the Sagbama Ekeremor Federal Constituency.
