Senator Ede Dafinone has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his “bold reforms” and “enduring leadership” as the Nigerian leader marks his 74th birthday.
In a statement released on Sunday, Dafinone described the milestone as more than a celebration of age, noting that it reflects a lifetime of service, sacrifice, and commitment to national development.
He said Tinubu’s leadership continues to inspire confidence and optimism across Nigeria.
The senator specifically highlighted the president’s economic policies, stating that recent reforms have helped stabilise the economy and restore credibility to Nigeria’s foreign exchange system.
According to him, while such measures often come with challenges, Tinubu’s willingness to make difficult decisions has positioned the country for sustainable growth and improved investor confidence.
Dafinone also praised Tinubu’s role as leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing the successful hosting of the party’s recent national convention at Eagle Square as evidence of his ability to unify and provide direction for the ruling party.
He further described the president as a resilient and visionary leader whose political foresight and commitment to progressive governance continue to influence leaders across Africa.
At a time when strong leadership is critical, Dafinone said, Tinubu has demonstrated the resolve needed to steer Nigeria toward stability and long-term prosperity under his Renewed Hope Agenda.
On behalf of his family and constituents in Delta Central Senatorial District, the lawmaker offered prayers for Tinubu’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength in service to the nation.
