Delta North senator-elect, Prince Ned Nwoko has taken out time to celebrate the immediate past Governor of Delta state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his homecoming.
Okowa was warmly received home after his tenure as Governor, by his Ika people at Owa model secondary school, Agbor, on Saturday, June 3.
Nwoko, though not physically present for the event, sent his heartfelt wishes, eulogizing the past Governor as a visionary leader and unifier. Noting that his visionary policies and initiatives have left an indelible mark on the progress of Delta state.
His message as released by his media directorate read in parts:
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your homecoming after your tenure as our esteemed Governor.
“Your visionary leadership; policies and initiatives have left an indelible mark on our state’s progress and prosperity.
“Beyond your accomplishments, it is your unwavering commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and collaboration that has resonated deeply with the people of our state.
“You have fostered an environment of unity and encouraged dialogue, bringing together diverse voices to shape policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of every Deltan.
“Congratulations once again Ekwueme. May this be a time of well-deserved rest, reflection, and celebration….”
