The acting Vice-Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, on Wednesday, announced the death of the university’s retired acting vice-chancellor, Professor Mojeed Olaide Liasu.
A statement approved by Professor Kalilu, commiserated with the family of the late Professor Liasu, who passed on at the age of 70, describing his death as devastating and a great loss to the academic community.
The statement reads: “LAUTECH management had already paid a condolence visit to the spouse of the deceased leader and intellectual giant.
“Professor Liasu was acting vice-chancellor of the university until he turned 70 on June 12, 2023.
