A man identified as Chikordi, has allegedly killed his wife, Prophetess Chikordi, of the Ancient of Days Healing Church, Umunede in Ika northeast local government area of Delta State.
Mr. Chikordi, jumped into a well after purportedly killing the General Overseer.
It was gathered that at about 4:00am on Sunday morning, the alleged murderer ran to his family hometown, Ekwuoma, also in the local government area where he jumped into the well.
Investigation may have been stalled as both husband and wife are currently dead.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the ugly incident.
