A Chattered Accountant (name withheld) with one of Delta State offices has packed her luggages and walked out of her marriage with her three children.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the woman who has lived with her husband in Asaba for 15 years said she had to quit her marriage because of her husband’s frustrating attitude towards money.
Our source said that the woman and her husband who are from Urhobo part of Delta state were always having quarrels over money.
Emerald News gathered that the woman just decided to leave him, complaining that he was not discipline with money.
According to our source, the woman complained that her husband who is a business man did not save money neither did he take care of any financial need at home.
Emerald News gathered that the woman told her family members that she has lost interest in marrying her husband because he was fond of borrowing money from money lenders with her name as collateral.
An eye witness said that his wife who was not happy about that has told him severally not to borrow money if he knows he will not be able to pay.
Emerald News gathered that the woman got very angry when a money lender in Asaba called to tell her that her husband borrowed money from him since November 2020 and has not made an attempt to pay any interest to him.
The Chartered accountant got furious and packed her belongings and left with her children.
Emerald News gathered that efforts by her husband to stop her from going proved abortive as her brothers came around to help her pack her things.
Our source said that the woman has moved to another town in Delta state so that her husband will not be disturbing her.
