Former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan Reno Omokri has taken to his verified Facebook page to share a new post as he says ” The Day Former President Jonathan Will Declare Is The Day I’ll Temporary Retire From Politics”.
According to him, a lot of people have been asking him if ex-President Goodluck Jonathan will be running for the presidency in the 2023 election.
Furthermore, he affirmed that his boss is the most honourable person in the country today as he asked if he was going to join the presidential race, would he be supporting someone else?
Moreso he said that everyone should calm down as he noted that the day Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will declare his interest to run for president again, is the day he will temporarily resign from every activity of politics until the election comes and goes.
However, he can’t say or do anything against him.
In addition, he appealed that people should disregard what one of his colleagues, Rueben Abati said about the former president’s intention to declare as he affirms that he never said he was going to contest adding his associate seems to be talking out of his imagination as a journalist.
In conclusion, he said that the reason why he chose not to publicly speak about it until that moment was that he was enjoying the attention the rumoured presidential declaration is giving his boss and as such he wants him to keep receiving it so that he might be moved to react.
