The governor of Rivers and Benue states appear to be the only two governors in Nigeria. This is because the remaining 34 are either slumbering or snoring away. They are pretending as if all is well whereas the nation is in turmoil.
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue and Nyesom Wike of Rivers are the only vocal governors. Others are either keeping quiet to curry favour from the presidency while their people are being killed or they are unduly loyal to party that brought them to power.
There are also some who are allegedly in complicit with the perpetrators of the massacre in the country. They are looking for ways to extend their religious rulership to other parts of the country.
Since their initial plans were resisted by the majority of Nigerians, they must employ other avenues to conquer the nation. But the strategy is not yielding results
