The recently suspended strike action by Academic Staff Union of Universities is being threatened by the recent developments.
The president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Emmanuel Osodeke, called off the strike action that lasted 8 months after deliberation with Federal government.
The Gombe state university branch of the association has released a memo after lecturers were paid half salaries. The memo stated that lecturers should cease supervision of students projects, and there would not be release of result.
