Bayelsa guber election: Residents, critical stakeholders pledge to vote Diri/Law for continuity as Grassroot Movement took campaign to rural communities

The masses and critical stakeholders across boards in Bayelsa State have pledged their total and unalloyed support to vote massively for the current governor and his deputy Senator Douye Diri and Senator Lawrence Eghrudjakpor for the Saturday November 11t governorship election in the state to continue the people oriented and prosperity government that has brought massive development to the people of Bayelsa state.

They said within four years in office Senator Douye Diri and Senator Lawrence Eghrudjakpor have brought transformation to Bayelsa state state and the residents are in safe hands.

Stakeholders openly declared their support on behalf of the voters during the grassroot engagement by Concerned Bayelsans For Good Governance, a frontline support group for the re-election of DiriI/Law.

“The Grassroot Movement for the re-election of Diri/Law which took their campaign to the door step of the electorates met with mammoth crowd of Senator Douye Diri supporters which cut across party affiliations raised their voices in implicit support of the Diri/Law election.

They agreed that Diri/Law is the only option that can genuinely guarantee continuity of prosperity for all Bayelsans.

During the grassroot engagement by the the Concerned Bayelsans For Good Governance under the auspices of Grassroot Movement For Douye Diri Re – election, the people that spoke with newsmen asserted that Bayelsa has never had it so good until Senator Douye Diri (AKA The Miracle Governor).

“The teeming supporters in their various endorsement statements affirmed that Governor Douye Diri has proven his mettle as God sent to stand in the gap for the People of Bayelsa state in this era like Moses did for the lsraelites when they departed Egypt for the Promised land.

The people, who emphasized the need to continue with Diri/Law election, maintained that Bayelsa is already agog with so much done already to highlight the successful achievements of the Diri led PDP Government which has brought so much joy to the masses.

Women leaders of various groups and youth organizations in their separate comments concurred that Senator Douye Diri is the man with the Midas Touch ordained by God to lead Bayelsa in this dispensation,
hence everything is working in his favour.

They made themselves very clear in their speeches that Senator Douye Diri’s
reelection is a done deal and already settled matter.

The elated supporters, however, thanked the members of the Grassroot Movement for the relection of Diri/Law known as Concerned Bayelsans For Good Governance for the wonderful good job they are doing to ensure continuity in Government House Yenagoa.

Worthy of note is the distinct fact that these teeming supporters of the Diri/Law popular ticket cut across party borders in wooing voters from every perceived opposition as they take the bold initiative to come over to sensitize and motivate the people
who are already set to vote en-mass
for Senator Douye Diri and PDP all the way
come 11th November 2023.

Hon. Ebi Ben Okolo Coordinator Bayelsa East and Hon. Abel Ebifemowei Coordinator Bayelsa Central of the Grassroot Movement for the re-election of Senator Douye Diri while addressing supporters during the campaign stated that the PDP has consistently delivered on its campaign promises and has the men with experience and knowledge required to lead Bayelsa into a brighter future, and that voting for Diri/Law election means Bayelsans are in safe hands.

Speaking in the same vein, Hon. Alex Jenakumo, Coordinator Bayelsa West and Hon. Charity Kens Godwin, Deputy Coordinator of the Grassroot Movement
during the engagement
appealed to all the electorates to make their promises good by coming out en-mass on the Saturday 11th of November
to cast their votes for
the joint ticket of Diri/Law to re-enact the mandate of the miracle Governor, Senator Douye Diri for a second tenure of unassailable development.

Local governments, wards and units representatives who were on ground
asserted that the Douye Diri re-election bid should be considered as a mission already accomplished.

Hon. George Turner, Deputy Coordinator, Bayelsa East, Hon. Abel Ebifemowei (Osuwo), Deputy Coordinator, Bayelsa Central, Chief Natus Zebakame, Deputy Coordinator, Bayelsa West and other
well respected community leaders who added their weight to the Diri phenomenon remarked that Governor Douye Diri’s first tenure is one good turn that truly deserves another come Saturday 11th November, 2023.
