BREAKING: Gunmen rain bullets on Delta House of Assembly member, and this happened

The member representing Ughelli South Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Reuben Izeze Esq., has been reportedly shot by unknown gunmen.

It was gathered that the lawmaker who survived the attack was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

Izeze, a rights activist, was said to have been attacked around Effurun area of the state.

The incident occurred about 9pm on Thursday, a source told NIGER DELTA TODAY Online.

It was learnt that the lawmaker was returning home when the gunmen suspected to be assassins opened fire on his vehicle.

Our source narrated that Izeze was shot at a closed range.

The gunmen were said to have kidnapped the lawmaker’s aide but later freed him.
