The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday June 9, 2020, recorded the highest figure since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
According to the disease control agency, the country recorded 663 as confirmed cases while Delta state recorded a total of 20 out of the total national figure of 663.
This is even as many have remained pessimistic, expressing doubts over the existence of the disease and calling for the opening of all sectors of the economy shut down by the government since April 2020.
In the analysis, Lagos has 170, Ogun 108, Bauchi 69, Ebonyi 49, Eddo 33, Rivers 30, federal capital territory 26, Jigawa 26, Delta 20 and others followed.
