Comrade, Chief Sheriff Mulade, the Ibe-sorimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West, LGA, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory in the just concluded PDP governorship primaries which was held on Wednesday May 25th, 2022 in Asaba the state capital.
Chief Mulade, while congratulating Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori who won the primary election with a total of 590 votes said Oborevwori has the capacity and developmental interest of Deltans based on his experience in politics and as the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
While announcing the result Mr. Ndubusi Nwobu, chairman of the Electoral Panel, said David Edevbie scored 113, Chief Fred Majemite, 6 votes, Senator James Manager, 83 votes, Barr Peter Mrakpor, 9 votes, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, 9 votes, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, 590 votes, Mr. Abel Esievo, 2 votes and Chief Ejaife Odebala, 2 votes.
Judging from the result margin of the PDP primaries, Chief Mulade said Oborevwori is the people’s choice and a strong contender.
Chief Mulade charged Oborevwori to work for the development of the state by providing the basic needed amenities such has good road, schools, electricity, health centre’s, clean water, and economic empowerment to the poor and venerable individual living in the rural communities when he becomes Governor of Delta State.
