Members of the forum of SSAs and SAs, Delta North have been advised to dwell in righteousness so as to overcome the machinations of the evil ones.
The Chaplain, Government House chapel, Rev. Charles Osemenam, gave the advice during the fasting and prayer programme of the SSAs and SAs Forum, Delta North at the Government House Chapel, Asaba.
Rev Osemenam emphasized the need to ensure the right standing with God to avoid and resist the devil.
The man of God urged members of the Forum to give genuine service to the state as no man can reap what he did not sow.
He said that man can only deceive man on fake service but not God who knows the heart of man.
Rev. Osemenam stressed the need to give genuine service and dwell in healthy environment to avoid being polluted by the evil ones.
Welcoming members to the prayer session, the Coordinator-General, Comrade Kingsley Azuh thanked members for their commitment and willingness to support the efforts of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Comrade Azuh said that Governor Okowa was able to achieve a lot in the development of the state in spite of the economic predicament because of his trust in God, adding that the SSAs and SAs are willing to support the present administration in its desire to develop the state.
Speaking earlier, the Think- tank committee chairman of the forum Elder Chike Ugwunmadu stressed the need to continually give thanks to God.
Elder Ugwunmadu urged the SSAs and SAs to always pray for the present administration and for the Governor to finish strong.
Highlight of the programme were coordinated prayer sessions by men of God.
