Delta2023: Issele-Uku market agog as SDP governorship candidate Gbagi storms market with message of hope (Photos)

The Afor market in Issele Uku that has been in existence for over 100 years with scores of men and women trading in the market were appreciative of the effort made by the Social Democratic Party governorship candidate Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi.

The entourage of SDP were escorted around the market by the Omu of Issele-Uku. This happens to be a record breaking event as the historical market has a policy against campaigns in the market but an exception was made for Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi.

Gbagi paid the traders a visit to educate them on the importance of their votes as they are also affected by the outcome of the election. He took turns around the market canvassing for votes from the people of Issele-uku community.

Traders and customers as well, all had one complaint, “politicians have made promises that have never been fulfilled, what is different about Gbagi?”.

Recall that the entrepreneur who is the biggest investor in Delta state as an individual, has declared the mandate to liberate Delta state via total industrialization of the state. This was the message that was passed across by Gbagi and his campaign team.

From responses gathered from the people, the high rate of economic inflation has made poverty the order of the day.

And any government that will have the interest of the people at heart will be voted for, and the recognition given to the people would not go unnoticed.
