Dozens of women in Kogi state have taken to the streets in Kogi central to protest what they termed an injustice regarding in the just concluded senatorial election in the district.
The women were pictured wearing white ritual outfits, which they explained was done to invoke the ancestral spirits of war against those who cheat and cause pain to the land.
Abubakar Sadiku Ohere of the All Progressive Congress emerged winner of the Feb 25th election, beating Mrs Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan of the People’s Democratic Party.
