A group photo of Governors Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Nyesom Wike of Rivers and Seyi Makinde of Oyo states has surfaced online. The three governors are seen seated and brainstorming on the best way to handle the Edo election and come out victorious.
The photo shows them in the PDP situation room. Certainly that is the room where decisions are made and strategic plans are put together for the party.
On Friday night, reports emerged of police surrounding the hotel of Wike and there were reported plans by the Nigeria police to send Wike out of Benin City, the Edo state capital. But Wike, it was gathered, told the police officers that he cannot leave when his fellow APC governors are in the state.
Governor Wike is the chairman of the Edo PDP national campaign council. He has piloted the council to a success. He is in Benin to see to the conclusion of the election. The three men are ready to ensure the state is returned to PDP and make South South a complete PDP zone.
