A former aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Aniocha South Constituency, Comr.Chidi Anthony Ikediashi (JP), has declared his support for the re-election bid of Hon. Chief Dr. Isaac Anwuzia (JP), calling on his supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to unite ahead of the party primaries.
Ikediashi, who had earlier indicated interest in the seat, said he did not purchase the nomination form for the Aniocha South DTHA race and had remained consistent with his decision of the Party Leadership to support Hon.Anwuzia. He stressed that politics should be guided by wisdom, loyalty and strategic thinking rather than emotions.
Politics is not a game where emotions should outweigh intelligence. It requires wisdom, loyalty and a clear understanding of the bigger picture. At times, genuine loyalty may come with personal inconvenience, but that is part of the responsibility that comes with political commitment and leadership,” he stated.
I sincerely appeal to all my supporters to work together with Hon. Anwuzia’s team as the primaries approach. We are one big political family, and together we can achieve more through unity, understanding and collective purpose.”
Ikediashi further maintained that leadership demands maturity, strategic thinking and unity of purpose, noting that the collective focus should remain on peace, progress and the overall interest of the people. He urged party faithful and supporters to align with what he described as the “Renew the Mandate,Refine the Mission”.
