1. Davido donates N250m to orphanages across Nigeria. For the past three days, the music star has been trending on the Nigerian media space. He started hy dropping his account for his friends and fans to donate N100m to clear his Roy Royce from the port. The donation was massive and it hit times two of his initial plan.
But Saturday morning, Davido took everyone by storm when he announced that he would be donating the money to orphanages in the country. He added N50million to the N200m his fans and donated. Every Nigerian saw it as the wisest and biggest decision so far taken by Davido.
2. The 64th birthday celebration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. It was a memorable day for him as who is who in Nigeria, including President Muhammedu Buhari wished him well in his new age. His wife, Patience Jonathan celebrated him in a special way.
3. Tinubu visits Orji Uzor Kalu in his Abuja home. Although there was no information on why he visited, it is believed that the visit was not unconnected to the 2023 presidential race. Tinubu is one of the aspirants eyeing the presidency afte the tenure of President Muhammedu Buhari. Reports say he went into closed door meeting with Kalu. So, no one could actually tell what transpired.
4. The disappearance of the petition of Reno Omokri seeking to jail President Buhari after his tenure in 2023. The petition was written to the International Criminal Court over the killing of Nigerian youths at the Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020 during the endSARs protest
