Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigerian aviation minister and one of the biggest critics of the President Buhari led government has alleged that four million pounds was paid for the release of the kidnapped Kankara students in Katsina state.
He also alleged that the money was shared between the insurgents, some security personnel and government officials.

Meanwhile Boko Haram abducted 35 travellers from a Borno highway yesterday whilst ANOTHER set of children were “kidnapped” by terrorists from their school in Mahuta, Dandume LGA, Katsina state last night.
This is just a day after the students that were kidnapped in Kankara were released.
