Gbagi congratulates Ogbimi for winning Saturday’s bye-election, says he should use his experience to develop Isoko North
A foremost governorship aspirant and former minister of state for education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has felicitated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko North and the party’s candidate for the Saturday House of Assembly bye-election.
Jude Ogbimi, the PDP candidate for the April 10 House of Assembly bye-election won the election beating the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to a distance second position.
In a statement signed by Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi and made available to journalists by his Media Assistant, Kenneth Orusi, Olorogun Gbagi said Ogbimi’s victory is a well-deserved one as the party went to all the nooks and crannies of the local government to campaign for the election.
“I want to commend the Delta state governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the PDP, party leaders and members, security agencies especially the police, the Independent National Electoral Commission for ensuring a peaceful and a successful election in Isoko North.
“I urge the House of Assembly member-elect to ensure that the Isoko North state constituency records development and above all, industrialization in his tenure.
“With his core competences in strong leadership skills, I trust he will bring his wealth of experience to bear especially in attracting development, ensuring that PDP grows stronger in Isolo North and assist the governor in the finishing strong agenda.
