Governor Abba Yusuf has officially presented a letter of appointment to Muhammadu Sanusi 11 as the 16th Emir of Kano.
The mini-durbar ceremony took place at the Africa House of the Kano State Government House on Friday, May 24.
The presentation of the letter of appointment is coming after a Federal High Court sitting in Kano issued an injunction stopping the action.
The Nation reported that the 14th Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II is back on the throne after four years hiatus following the signing of the Kano State Emirates Councils (Repeal) Bill 2024 by Governor Yusuf
