A 35-year-old man, Mr. Sunday Ikede, has rejected his wife who is pregnant with her first baby because the financial aid he expected from his brothers in-law did not come.
An eye witness told Emerald News that the man from Anambra State married his wife, Nneoma from a wealthy home, hoping that the rich brothers of his wife would help him to establish a good business.
Emerald News gathered that Mr. Ikede who lives with his wife in Lagos became disappointed and started to hate his wife.
Our source said that one year after he married his wife, he requested for financial assistance from the rich brothers in-law which they turned down.
It was learnt that Mr. Ikede who was bittered about his disappointment, woke up one day and told his wife to pack her belongings and leave his house.
Our source said that the man also called his brothers in-law and told them that he no longer has interest in their sister.
This medium gathered that Mr. Ikede angrily told his wife and her family that he was not also interested in the pregnancy, telling them that they can also own the baby when the wife gives birth.
Emerald News gathered that as his wife and her family were making attempt to make peace, Mr. Ikede told them that they should forget about the marriage if they were not ready to establish a business for him.
Our source said that while his wife was begging her brothers to grant her husband’s request, Mr. Ikede woke up one day and packed his belongings and left his house.
As at the time of filing this report, Mr. Ikede has not come back while his wife and her family are taking care of the baby boy he rejected.
