Billy Egbe, senior legislative aide to Deputy senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, has resigned his appointment with the senator.
Egbe, who is a strong promoter of Omo-Agege and APC in Delta, in the resignation letter, also said he is defecting from the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Dear friends, as you all know, there is a season for everything, and a time for every purpose under the Heaven.
Today, I want to respectfully inform you that I have resigned from my position as Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Deputy Senate President, His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
In addition, I have also resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
