Lauretta Onochie, the assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media has announced that her principal will not release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
She said this while responding to the call by Nigerians, traditional, opinion and religious leaders for the release of Kanu, who is right now in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS, requesting that Buhari’s administration should embrace negotiations.
According to her, the secessionist leader and its members are responsible for the killing of notable and average Nigerians in the South-East region and so much won’t be released.
Going further, Lauretta Onochie accused Nnamdi Kanu of having led to the death of many Nigerians including Chike Akunyili, the husband of late Prof Dora Akunyili, a former Director-General of the NAFDAC.
While calling the IPOB leader a monster, Onochei noted that he will get a trial even though he didn’t give such a chance to those who according to her, he ordered their executions.
Onochie wrote on Facebook;
“Nigerians are waiting anxiously for justice to be done. Under President Buhari, a due process advocate, the monster will get a fair trial, a chance he didn’t accord those he ordered their executions. The families of the slain are waiting for a fair and just closure to their nightmares.”
Onochie added;
“Well-meaning Ndigbo are of the opinion that their leadership, failed them by encouraging one of them who was clearly an unwell man. They did not speak up when they should. They are still hiding their heads in the sand.
“To call for his release is to spit on the graves of Dr. Chike Akunyili, Dr. Lawrence Ezenwa, Dr. Ahmed Gulak, slain traditional rulers, students, virgins, and ordinary Nigerians of Igbo stock who lost their lives on the instructions of this lunatic, not forgetting the security operatives they murdered.
Onochie said, in spite of the way that Buhari has brought more infrastructural development toward the Southeast than some other governments as of late, they have refused to align with his party.
Onochie boasted that the Federal Government of Buhari will squash the IPOB, adding stupidity will presently don’t help now.
