Chief Kanma has, to his credit, the responsibility of conceiving and executing the construction of the estates built by the company, including Parklane Estate, KPDC Estate, Kanma Homes in Lugbe, Kanma Homes in Kaduna and the ongoing Kanma Homes in Asaba and the multitude of federal government staff whom he assisted to own affordable good quality houses, through the federal government staff housing loans board.

As a lawyer, Chief Kanma was a Principal Partner at K.O. He has analysed probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents; assessed cases for probable outcomes by researching the law and other legal authority, comparing fact patterns to those of precedent cases; resolved conflicts and negotiated agreements between parties in order to reach win-win solutions on disagreements and clarify misunderstandings and managed the business of the law firm.

Chief Kanma’s chain of successes in the legal profession and real estate business could be attributed to hard work, professionalism and strong belief in God

In terms of education, Chief Kanma holds BL Law, Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos; LLB: Law, University of Benin, Benin-City; High School Diploma, St. Pius Xth Grammar School, Onicha Ugbo, Delta State, among numerous post graduate diploma and certificates.

As part of his vision for the Anioma nation when he eventually emerges Senator in 2023, Barrister Kanma is set to effectively utilise his experience and expertise to speak and attract significant development projects and legislations to unlock the potential of Anioma youth for prosperity and progress. Barrister Kanma who titled his agenda as “The power of 6” listed his programme to include creation of laws that will move the Nigeria nation from consumption economy to a productive one. He said it is the primary focus of Labour Party to create jobs through development and expansion of the manufacturing sector of the economy.

He is set to ensure that Anioma people get a fair proportion of the opportunities of employment, infrastructure development and human capital capacity building, available to all citizens of the country. He is ready to end marginalisation and step-child treatment of Anioma people. For him, Delta North must be effectively represented in the hallowed chambers,

Again, he is ready t work towards an accountable government where wastage is reduced to the barest minimum through robust oversight functions and to remain answerable to the good people of Delta North. He noted: “We cannot continue to be submissive to the candidates we elected. Power must reside with the voters, that is the beauty of democracy.”

Barrister Kanma is also to pursue law, orderliness, equity and justice within the laws of Nigeria. This is in addition to equitable distribution of resources and development among the 9 local government arras that make up Delta North.

He is equally set to ensure that constituency projects are meaningful and actually executed. The good people of Delta North deserve to have quality projects to justify the presence of their representative in the Senate. Hence, he said: “I will ensure that projects are started and finished with the urgency required.”

Finally, Barrister Kanma, the incoming Delta North Senator said he will follow up on the federal government projects and obligations within the Delta North senatorial district. that are left undone or uncompleted. Example of such projects is the uncompleted dam at Ogwashi Uku   in Aniocha South.

He added “Promise is nothing without delivery”. My promise to the 9 local government areas of Anioma nation consisting Aniocha South, Aniocha North, Oshimili North, Oshimili South, Ika South, Ika North East, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwuani is “When I am your Senator, your voice will be heard in the hallowed chambers of the National Assembly. Laws that are against your interest will be vigorously challenged and laws that promote your interest will be proposed and supported.

“My decision to vie for the Senate is primarily driven by the passion to do things differently. We as a people must make the hard choice of electing a people-oriented person to bring about quality and effective representation for our people. Enough is certainly enough as we cannot afford to follow the beaten and fruitless path. So, my people, it is time for a breath of fresh air in Anioma land.”
