Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Orhue I, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), CFR, mni, on the 20th anniversary of his coronation and ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
Dafinone, in a congratulatory message issued on behalf of his family, the people of Delta Central Senatorial District and the Urhobo Nation, described the milestone as a celebration of two decades of purposeful and visionary traditional leadership.
He said the monarch’s reign had demonstrated God’s faithfulness and reflected his unwavering commitment to the unity, progress and prosperity of Okpe Kingdom.
According to the senator, the kingdom has witnessed remarkable economic and political advancement under the monarch’s leadership, alongside strengthened traditional institutions, greater influence in national affairs and an atmosphere of peace, harmony and stability.
Dafinone also commended the Orodje’s fatherly leadership, which he said had fostered unity among the people, attracted meaningful development and elevated the prestige of Okpe Kingdom beyond its borders.
“As Your Majesty celebrates this historic anniversary, we join countless sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom, the Urhobo Nation, and well-wishers across Nigeria in thanking Almighty God for preserving and blessing your reign,” Dafinone said.
He prayed for continued good health, divine wisdom and strength for the monarch, as well as many more fruitful years on the throne.
Dafinone further prayed that the Orodje’s reign would continue to serve as a beacon of peace, cultural pride and sustainable development for present and future generations.
He concluded by wishing the monarch a memorable 20th Coronation Anniversary.
