Renowned politician and advocate for progress, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, has once again emphasized that his renewed push for the creation of Anioma State is a mission that transcends far beyond political ambition. For him, it is a fight for liberation, development, and the empowerment of the people of Delta North.

Speaking passionately during a recent engagement, Senator Nwoko declared, “I am willing to sacrifice every ounce of political influence I possess to see Anioma State become a reality. This is not about me; it is about the future of our people.”

*Championing Anioma’s Identity*

Anioma, a region with a rich cultural heritage, has long sought statehood to assert its unique identity within Delta State. Senator Nwoko has emerged as a leading voice in this struggle, advocating for the creation of a state that he believes will unlock the region’s full potentials.

“The creation of Anioma State is about giving our people the autonomy they need to thrive,” he stated. “It’s about taking development closer to the grassroots and ensuring that our voices are heard and respected.”

Nwoko refuted claims that his advocacy stems from personal ambition, insisting that his motives are rooted in a genuine desire to see Anioma flourish. He argued that state creation is a tried-and-tested formula for bringing governance closer to the people, citing the successes of other regions that have benefited from similar restructuring.

*Anioma State: A Vision for Development*

For Senator Nwoko, Anioma State is not just a dream; it is a pathway to economic growth, infrastructural development, and enhanced governance. The senator envisions a state where the wealth and resources of Delta North are harnessed for the benefit of its people, creating opportunities for education, healthcare, and job creation.

He lamented the neglect Anioma has faced over the years, pointing out that the current political structure has not adequately addressed the needs of the region. “The people of Delta North deserve more than what they are getting,” he asserted. “Anioma State will give us the platform to prioritize our people’s welfare.”

*Sacrificing Political Influence for a Greater Cause*

In a political landscape where personal gain often takes precedence, Nwoko’s declaration of readiness to forgo political influence for Anioma’s liberation stands him out. He acknowledged that his stance might ruffle feathers among political bigwigs who are comfortable with the status quo but maintained that he is undeterred.

“I have no problem giving up my political standing if it means Anioma will be free and prosperous,” he said. “This is not about positions or power; it is about legacy and doing what is right for my people.”

*A Call for Unity and Support*

Nwoko called on the people of Delta North, as well as other well-meaning Nigerians, to rally behind the Anioma State initiative. He stressed the importance of unity in achieving this shared vision, urging stakeholders to set aside political differences and work towards a common goal.

“The creation of Anioma State is not just my fight; it is our fight. It is a collective responsibility,” he said. “We must all come together to make this dream a reality.”

*The Road Ahead*

While the journey to state creation is fraught with challenges, Nwoko remains optimistic. He expressed confidence in the process, highlighting the strides made in garnering support at both the state and federal levels.

“Our voices are being heard, and the momentum is building. With perseverance and unity, Anioma State will become a reality,” he assured.

For Senator Ned Nwoko, the creation of Anioma State is more than a political ambition—it is a moral obligation. His unwavering commitment to this cause serves as an inspiration, reminding us all that true leadership is about putting the people first. As he continues to champion this advocacy, one thing is clear: Nwoko’s vision for Anioma State is a vision for liberation, progress, and a brighter future for Delta North.
