Senator Nwoko to extend sports facility projects to Ika, Ndokwa federal constituencies in 2025 appropriations bill

The most Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, celebrated for his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to youth empowerment, is set to expand his transformative sports infrastructure projects to Ika South and Ndokwa West Local Government Areas in the 2025 appropriations bill.

This move aligns with his unwavering commitment to promoting sports as a tool for youth engagement, talent development, and community integration across Delta North Senatorial District and beyond.

Update on the 2024 Sports Facility Project

The sports facility project initiated under the 2024 appropriations bill, sited at the Issele-Uku Stadium premises, has recorded significant progress. With 70% of the work completed, the project includes a football pitch, dressing rooms, and a sitting pavilion designed to provide world-class amenities for local and regional sports activities.

Expanding the Vision: Projects for Ika South and Ndokwa West LGAs

In the 2025 appropriations bill, Senator Nwoko aims to replicate this success by extending similar sports facility projects to Ika and Ndokwa federal constituencies.

These projects will include the construction of football pitches, dressing rooms, and spectator pavilions, creating hubs for sporting excellence and community development in these areas
